I do not understand the fear people have about their privacy/rights that they think are being taken away. I do not break any laws and I do not harbor terrorists so i dont give a shit if the govt. looks at what library books I check out....Sounds like more arm flappin' scare tactics from the cowardly party of lawyers....

Horseshit! Everyone breaks laws because THERE ARE TOO MANY BAD LAWS!! What will you do when they pass a law that makes one of your favorite activities illegal? Be a good little boy and submit? It is called 'domestication' and results in a weaker populace.

The Jews were breaking the laws that were specifically passed with them in mind, just like stoners are breaking laws passed with them in mind, and bikers break laws passed with them in mind, and lawyers don't break laws 'cause it's mostly lawyers that pass them.

And who's idea was it to have a 'rule of law' anyway? What ever happened to good old fucking common sense... or even "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" ?

OK, Sam's right again...I did get a seatbelt ticket not too long ago and i dont think the omni-present govt. needs to be tellin' every kid to wear a helmet on their bicycle (we all lived through the crash-n-burns right?) But then the BS laws might be why we seem to be raising a generation that cannot wipe their own ass...Oh, and thanks for the heads up (poor choice of words here) on Minnesota, i'll avoid that fellatio hatin' place like the plague!!!!!!!!! I hear "they" are thinking of introducing a bill in the legislature about leavin the toilet seat up!

Well the good thing is that Falwell Vs. Flynt 1986- protects my rights in this matter.
As well as virtualy all the activity you see on the internet these days.
They really are just trying to harras me and draw this out to scare me into signing away those rights just so one more rich jerk off can claim that he bested some upstart.
Half of me really wants to not have another threatening phone call or another random request by these lawyers that has nothing to do with their case but to make me feel like they have the power to do what they want and when they want.
But the logical half of me has to consider that if I let them do this to me then any person out there both on and off the internet will be put in danger of having it done to them.

i would prefer to err on the side of caution and always question authority and its laws.

on the other hand, some people need to start "policing" their own behavior.

All of this friction.

One thing: all of the countires that used the Eagle as their mascot... think about it. They all have one thing in common.

Big bad crash.

For someone who says he does not trust authority or the laws as they stand you sure sound like a partisan suck up.
Tell me, what great acts of violence could one expect without this mythical engine of "moderate control" that you claim?
Who are these wonderful moderates and what great things have they done to define this border of peace and keep it strong.
Are you saying that either the "left" or "right" have some kind of agenda in place that would endanger the fabric of America to the point of all out violence?
Don't get me wrong, not too long ago I almost thought as you did.
But then my head got pulled out of my ass and I had a look around this country.
There has never been anything violent about Sheep or herdsmen.
Sheep might nip at eachother over the grain or some booty from time to time but it's all just grain and booty.

mythical engine? why do you de-humanize self-restraint?

great violent acts... hmmmm, the Watts riots... the Oklahoma City Bombings... how about any "hate" crime...

does it have to be "great act of violence" not simply an act of violence?

Ok sp NOW it the people that make up this "moderate" authority of yours.

The watts riots and the Oklahoma city bombings.
Do you have any example that exists in recent history or is at all relative to the subject?

If you want to go after any and all simple acts of violence then whay did you start off by using an example like 9/11 and then bringing up the issue of "THIS COUNTRY".
If it's just general acts of violence and if your not talking about great danger to our way of life because of the "left or "right" wing then why be such an alarmist and use that old 9/11 chestnut in order to make some meaningless point about nothing in the first place?

You got a lil of that "foot in mouth syndrome" going on.
