Street Signs
QUick question. I pretty sure the street sign posts are 4x4s. Does anyone know the height to the top of the post?

Re: Street Signs
This year the posts were 2x2, duct-taped to T-(fence)-posts. They were just a bit too tall to reach.

That thin, huh. I really didn't pay attention, but was thinking about some non destructive art addition next year.

Re: Street Signs
I noticed that as the street signs began to disappear later in the week that there also were 2" white PVC posts stuck lower down in the ground with the corner designation printed vertically in black letters.
When I departed on Wednesday, these PVC corner posts were still in place. It seems as these were not as attractive to remove and were a great help in navigating.
Great Idea.

The little round white ones go in first and come out last. But the emergency crews have a hard time reading them in a hurry. That's why we recommend that camps make and install replacement signs.
I think Unjonharley has a snapshot of me installing replacement signs Sunday morning. We just need to teach him how to process that newfangled digital film.
