Re: what are you listening to?
Hey y'all, check out the new pop album by Sia, called "1000 Forms of Fear"
She is Australian, used to sing for electronic duo Zero 7, which has totally been my burning man music in the past. (chill style)
her new album is not so chill, and she has a beautiful voice, lots of passionate songs that go well with a black rock vibe. Bonus points, she used to be a burner (maybe still is?) Shes the old school kind of burning man celeb
Here's her hit video/single, but I highly recommend "Fire Meet Gasoline" on the album

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Re: what are you listening to?
Can we just list our music or do we have to provide a link now?
Drink the Sea - Glitch Mob (the whole album)
ANYTHING by Pink Floyd (Animals is my personal favorite album)
Wormwood - The Woodbox Gang (again whole album)
Katy Perry - (Not really, I just wanted to see if you were still reading)
As you can see I'm more of a "whole album" kinda guy than just going for one song.

Drinking wine listening to Bob Seger. I like his music but when I listen to his lyrics it seems like every song is about regret & missed opportunities, Like someone in the twilight of their life looking back at what could have been but wasn't, & maybe occasional but fleeting passion. I never realized how sad some of his songs make me feel.
Ok, not upbeat but I could listen to Leonard Cohen all night.
Cheers my friends.
