boob blaster

Post by Anthony Bondi » Sat Oct 30, 2004 2:57 pm

The Boob Blaster was wonderful. It is the project I have thought of as the examplar of playa art this year. It was conceptually simple such that anyone could have thought of it anytime over the past decade (but no one did except the artist who conceived it). It was mechanically simple, therefor perfectly resistant to the vagaries of the playa. Also because of its mechanical simplicity I presume that just about anyone could have constructed it. It looked inexpensive and was clearly easily portable. It was wholly interactive. It was a play-specific piece in that it pretty much called for bare breats to be best savored. I'll repeat that this is pretty much my concept of perfect playa art. Just about anyone looking at the piece might have thought, "I could have done that", but there it was having been produced by whoever were the brilliant people/person who did produce it. Whoever did create the piece, I hope they bring it back next year , maybe with multiple Boob Blaster Portals, in which case conversations might occur between various boob holders during their blast. I noted that the Boob Blaster was adjacent to a candy-lickum installation which also looked bright and simple and like bundles of fun.

I didn't try it, but I was camped next to it. I wasn't sure what it was. It looked kinda scary. I'm not sure I want my boobs blasted with articness. Or did it serve some other, completely different purpose?

If I'd only had a pair of boobs I would have gladly tried it~!

I was camped right behind it...

not there... just a little lower...

Lower....

yes, right there on Uranus...

Ah, that's it. =)

rdrash: was that YOU who was operating it? I rode by on my bike, and there was a man and a woman sitting under a little shade structure... the man asked if I wanted to try the boob blaster, and, though I was a little afraid, I said yes... it was lovely, and wonderful, and then the guy asked if I wanted a stamp, which we put on my upper arm.... a beautiful blue Man stamp...

if this was your doing, you totally made my day...

I did, it made my nipples so hard! There was also a platform that did the Maralin Menro thing with my skirt. Both were refreashing!
