Out of all the camps and things you could have put on here. I completely recognize the first picture.
Here is a small story of how the playa provides. I was with a buddy at Camp Question Mark dancing and having a good old time. Back in the day, I had broken my back, so dancing and galavanting at Question Mark was a sure sign of Sore Back Syndrome (SBS). So, i walked out by the Misfits camp and stood by the street pole at 2 and J. I was streching and trying to get the SBS to go away. Just then a nice lady walks up and says hello. The usual chit chat. I was a bit out of it from SBS and too much sensory overload at ? (Loud Tunes, Lazers, Fire Spinners n shit). She had to go to the bathroom, so I walked with her to the row of Johns where she offered me Tequila and water. We returned and she noticed that I was still bending and streching and sore. There was an Art Car nearby and she walked up to them and started chatting. I didnt know what she was doing. She then returns and grabs me by the arm and directs me to this art car. There was a nice cushioned seat and she instructed me to lay down. I still had no idea what she was doing. After a few moment this nice lady was on top of me, with my legs all tangled up and twisted, she was pushing me, streching me, etc. Then the other side, and then some of this, some of that, then Cats and Cows I think she called it. She showed me proper form, and made me bend in awkward ways. During this, she had stated she was a Yoga teacher and some sort of therapist, I thought, "yeah whatever". After about 10 minutes of this, I stood up and the pain I was experiencing from SBS had dissapeared. It was wonderful and I believed her fully at this point!
So, after hanging on the Art Car for a few minutes, we decided to go find my buddy and go back to camp. Well, I had invertantly locked my bike to his and he had left during my "Adjustment". I took my bike and she took his. We started the ride back to my camp to drop off his bike. I couldnt let her walk home alone so I told her I would walk her back to her camp. Our conversation was centered around "Sisters", I was telling her about mine, and her about hers and how she was a yoga girl as well. Just then a car started driving down the road, brights all flashing and shit, and I was like, "what the F is going on, GD car, who is this asshole driving around with the brights on!" The car pulled up next to us and it just so happened to be her sister and her husband. What a strange thing to be talking about them, and all the sudden, from wherever they came from in California or Colorado or wherever, there they were, at that exact time and place in the middle of a neighborhood.
After a few minutes, Her sister, her and I got to walking back to her camp. We walked in and out of camps, up and down alleys, and then into this little oasis. We wlkaed up the small road to camp 11:11 or something like that, but before we reached it, we turned left into a small camp set up with a shade structure. So, I sat down in a chair and looked at a TINY trailer that sat in front of me, she was using the restroom and when she came out I remember saying, is that a real trailer or is it just a cargo trailer. She said it was real and handed me a bottle of frozen water, it was delicious. We hung out there for about 15 minutes or so. I took in the entirety of the situation and looked around at the floor, the RV, the tiny camper, the shade and the lights twinkling overhead.
So, here I am looking at some pretty pics when all the sudden, in pic 1, there it is. Her camper, that tiny trailer, the carpeted floor, the shade cloth and the twinkling lights. I looked all over for her the next few days when I was in better "shape". and I could never find her again. It was a maze back in the way she took us, it was dark, it was confusing. And now, here it is, right on my screen.
All I can say is "Huh!"
And, If you know her, the owner of that RV, she'll remember this story I'm sure, will you please tell her I said Thank You!? She was my playa angel that night and I appreciate her helping me relieve my SBS. She is one story form BM2014 that I took away and Ill remember for quite a while. I was sad that I didnt get to hang out with her again after that night.....
Thanks for reading my Playa Provides story. Sorry if I rambled a bit. And sorry if I am completely mistaken. I could have been, it was a wild night!
These angles are all fenced up!
