UJH: well, we got a good steady rain for a couple of hours......they're saying it may total1/2 inch or so...not a ton by PNW standards, but, for here, and especially the fire and smoke, it's all helpful.

Light rain here as well. Supposed to go on through tomorrow. Was wondering if it got up to you in the Sierra, YG. Happy to know that it has!

This summer has been wetter than usual - thank god, we got hit by enough fires recently.
Cooler too. Didn't have to run the swamper or fans for nearly as many weeks as some years.
Lately been getting minor rain in the afternoons.

Yep, you saw it right. I woke up this morning, peered out the kitchen window and saw a double rainbow. It meant that something was going to happen good today, and sure enough, it did. All well here, though I'm still dreaming too much about next year.

I'm fine, the cat is fine. Take care, all.

We should see soaking rain here tomorrow, but it is sucking up out of the south, not the west. Dang.

Morning, kiddies. Our rain was a great disappointment. By 10AM yesterday the sun was shining and it is again this morning Hope the sierra got more to slow those fires.
