I'm new to Burning Man, as in literally just learned about this. :) It sounds like a very interesting event for someone who's completely clueless about it, like me. I enjoy festivals in general, so I'm curious just how different this one is. I'm not from Nevada so this forum's the closest I can get to experiencing it all. :D

Welcome. It is unlike any other festival. And folks attend from all over the world so not being from Nevada is not really an obstacle if you want to participate.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.
