By monitoring the genetic evolution of the virus over time they use that information to make their best guess as to which strains should be included in the upcoming year's vaccine. Because it's basicly an educated guess,it isn't as effective in the years their guess is wrong, and may only provide partial immunization.Sunbeam56 wrote:

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Now, what was the word that you meant to use?
Gray Coyote used 'werst'. I suspect he meant 'wurst' for goathead. goathead is a healthy-sized individual, don't ya know. It's not a big stretch to see him downing a few bratwurst over at Home Brew Camp.
But that's just an observation. Use what word(s) you think is most suitable.

Truly, "wort" is a word dripping in Anglo-Saxon. Gives me shivers. (I also love the smell.) Weaving has great Anglo-Saxon words, too: warp, woof, weft, heddle...
"Mee-maw" is, I suspect, much newer.

Re: The Bar 2014 Edition
Actually, anywhere unknown is not a 'bad' place to be. There are many for whom the words on a map, terra incognita(unknown territory) offers its own thrill of discovery. Discovery in its early days led to the Enlightenment, to the Industrial Revolution, and on and on until now. Our greatest enemy eventually may be the information overload made possible by the computing revolution. Alvin Toffler had part of the idea right with his book 'Future Shock', IMHO.goathead wrote:and a better place to be lost, has never been found.

How can I, a man who looks like Buddy Hackett and knows an equipment operator named Jerry Lewis, take myself too seriously? Probably not possible at the moment, since I did instigate Jerry's habit of greeting women on the jobsite with the phrase, "Hey Lady!"goathead wrote:naaaaaa, it will be when we take ourselves to serious. Our greatest enemy eventually may be the information overload

Morning bar!
Missed the alarm and got an extra 50 minutes
Boss is ok with it.
He is also ok with me confiding I'm applying for a job at New Belgium.
This is the first time I've applied with a referral from an employee so..
fingers crossed
