I'm ignoring whole threads.

You ever have a relationship or a friendship that just fizzles and dies quietly? No active dumping or parting. Just one day you forget to respond to a phone call or an email and then a week or two later you remember. But now it's too late to respond, and you realize that if you haven't spoken in this long, maybe they don't want to speak to you. And neither reaches out to the other again. And after a month you decide that if you could go this long without contact, it really is no big loss.

That's what I keep hoping will happen to the threads.
