First, the people who "control the forum", as much as there is control, are the same people who put on the event itself. They don't (or rarely) post here, and definitely don't moderate. The mods are all volunteers, and, just like any group of people, our opinions range widely on this and many other topics. And, again, none of the threads have been shut down - seriously, go look. They're all still there, they can all be posted in. People disagreeing with you, or even calling it boring, isn't shutting down a thread. It's their contribution to it, regardless if it fits what you want people to say in it. There is no requirement on here that people agree.

Second, you're trying to cast the so-called "anti" opinion as some poor huddled dog waiting to be kicked, when it's probably the majority opinion if you consider all it's variations. It's like the televangelists crying that "christianity is under attack in America" because they don't get 100% of their way, it's simply not true. You can say anything you want about turnkey camps, but you don't get to do it in a vacuum. Any other member of the board has a right to respond - that's not shutting down the discussion, that's having one.

I'm not sure how you expect to have a discussion when you treat anyone who says something you disagree with as basically "the enemy". They got to me well before I was born nature boy. OK so now you've owned some of your shit and you're really pissed off because you don't like someone elses shit or they aren't copping to it in the way you think they ought to. BFD. Your shit, their shit, it's all shit baby.

The world cannot bend to your will because you are not the creator. I understand your disappointment, fuck I'm so disappointed I'm suicidal most days. BFD. It doesn't matter a lick. You could ask them to justify wanting me there. See, I didn't buy a package for $13,000, I just had friends here. And for their reasons they felt I should be there. And most importantly, I didn't sell spots to the Burn for $13,000. As for my entitlement and wealth to attend....well...I was a born a white man in the US. Not sure what excuse will do here.

I'm not sure what shit of mine I am ignoring, and I am sorry you feel that way. Of course I am a hypocrite, we all should be. I do stuff that is wrong and un-healthy and yet will tell others not to do those same things. I try to be honest about that. Well after this I've got a new appreciation for my experiences in my innocent years of burning. But ya know I suspect I'm going to create something of equal or more value if I Burn in 2015. And the reason I believe that is I'm taking my own hopes and dreams into it and I'm going to find a way to find what I'm looking for there. Because in the end I'm the one creating my internal experience and frankly I'd rather have fun. I'm old and I don't know how much longer I have. That's a good place to be living from believe it or not.
