Yes...and it is still a driveway, but the carport that used to be there is now my living room. The original owners of the house closed it in in the early 1950's.

The concrete has been there since 1949, and is really showing some wear and tear. Cracks and crumbles from tree roots, or just age.

I know putting new pavers next to it is like trying to sparkle up a turd, but it looks better than the dirt/mud/weeds/stickers that were there. :D

That's what I figured but for some reason it looks like it would come way too close to the house, as a carport drive. As in close enough the passenger couldn't open their door.

I think you should keep some glitter handy in case a stray offers up an opportunity for neighborhood beautification.

Well, this is a work in progress that is nearly finished! I finally moved my main email server over to my combined email server. Now all five domains are on the same server. FINALLY! The best part is I did it without missing a single email.

Just need to move the last website over to the new web server and I'm done!!!

I'd say 'pics or it didn't happen' but pics of a server rack are kinda non-masturbatory...

looks great sadie. I've seen new floors in stores here that look similar, cracked stained distressed concrete.

One of the nephews wanted something to keep him dry when he goes camping next weekend.

Soooooooo............We have the Monkey camper!!!!

Stick the pvc in the stake holes at the corners of the bed of the truck.

I forgot to take a pic of the 50' of rope that I laced from front to back on the sides to retain the huts shape.

Once the tarp is on, just run bungees from the grommets to the bottom of the bed of the truck.

Takes about 20 minutes to set up!!! 8)

His is a short bed, but it would be easy to use 1 1/2" for the backbone, then 3/4" would sleeve through the T connectors for the ribs.

Doing it this way allowed all the frame parts to pack on top of the wheel well with nothing hanging out the back during transport. 8)

FIGJAM is the man and knows what he's doing, but I confess confusion at the need for shelter to stay dry combined with photos of saguaros. I'm guessing there is a roadtrip in between?

Someday your nephew will tell his grandkids about camping in a covered wagon back in the day. Great job!

Well it has been raining a lot the last 2 weeks, but he's going hunting up north next weekend and it could get wet.

Oh, the cost for this project was about $20! 8)
