I wish. One would be nice. I envy my niece for having enough German to translate instructions and enough Russian to dream of a permanent position translating that!
tpbm also knows the sting of envy over a generational divide.

Yes I am. I like sweet potato pie over pumpkin.

TPBM is wishing for a Volkswagen Vanagon camper.

nope, but I wouldn't rip the pink slip up if I suddenly owned one.

tpbm is trying to make the transition from setting a tent up when camping, to just parking, and sleeping comfortably in their vehicle/rig.

Actually yes. Year one (airmatress). Year two (camp cot) Year three (same camp cot with bent out of shape legs and a sagging problem). Really thinking of an enclosed space with a real matress.

tpbm had a fabulous time at the SF Decomp today.

Nope. I might have gone, but I didn't have the good chair. After sitting in the back up for merely half the day, my butt is sore.
tpbm's butt is sore from a good spanking.

No, but from sitting on an old wooden bench. Went to an old fashion "Dinner on the Ground". The church is way back in the woods and a one room building. Built in the 1800's. No air, fans, etc. It is in the area where my grandmother's family grew up. Service is held there once a year. Food was wonderful.

TPBM has been to an old fashion "Dinner on the Ground".

Since having an "embarrassing" tv show would imply that a) I subscribe to some sort of bourgious (I swear to god this is so poorly spelled that all the spellcheck can give me is "gibbous", truly, wtf) code of what is and is not seemly and b) that I watch tv, no.
TPBM thinks the code of chivalry is almost as outdated as the code of the bourgeoisie.

Chivalry never existed, except as an ideal. It was D.O.A.

No. I tried reading anarchists when I was younger, but it was too abstract. Wait! Did he write the thing about the Cossacks? I think that might have been Kropotkin...
tpbm is going to the library to check out a book on Moholy-Nagy, cause, face it, that's a cool name.

No, but in college I actually used to locate the most entertaining personal ads I could find in the backpages of the alternative weeklies (the anonymous kind, only a few sentences long; "New Yorker seeks Goat for Good Times, No Smokers" that sort of thing) and email my favorites to friends as a sort of monthly digest.
