Don't not claim it.
I'll do my best to do it justice. Fishy is great hugger.

Hell yes I'll claim that hug!

And fishy I did give Sadie a big hug from you yesterday, she loved it and will remember jerky this next year?

Light rain here as well. Was at the Hot Italian Doctor's baby shower yesterday, She looks very preggers as expected. Great party with interesting folks, great food and tons of kiddies doing kiddie things.

In the ongoing adventures of "Ygmir near misses", he fell off his bike today.

As usual he escaped unscathed, but they had to call out a crew to repair the bike path!!!!!!!!!!

She was so sweet in 13. helping me out and eating my jerky. I'd brought it along, but wasn't interested when I got there, so it was nice that I could give some to her. I should have given her more. At any rate, jerky worked for her in 13.

Borax is a good flux for forge welding, yes... but I find that MIG is much faster! :)

Post pics of the project if you can. If you can wield a hammer on stone, then I bet you'll find wielding a hammer on steel isn't that drastically different. The material reacts differently, sure, but still... knowing how to use the tool is the first part.

Another triumph of my new Purchase Price Negotiating Technique: A local fellow wanted to buy a bicycle, and I figured I could maybe get $40 for it, and would settle for 25. Then I asked him "How much would you like to pay for it?", and he said $80.-.

That's 11 new thorn-resistant inner-tubes for next year!

LCN:
yeah with the MIG, if you mean using wire.........but, with a good forge weld, two plates become one, not just around the edges like a welder.....I like that idea for some stuff, and the strength...........

You want to road trip with me, you'll have to let me stay on for Smithsonian days too. Yikes Labrador fairly rugged... Satellite phone can be borrowed from regional govt???!!
