Nope. I actually work for Nordstrom Direct. I handle anything having to do with .com and full line store issues or some other things. I'm hoping to get into the Beauty Specialist or Designer Item team next year. But ya its nice. Getting to work in the Jammies from home.

started working on my own and got in a fight with my industrial serger and had to go to the ER. I kept my thumb though.

Good Morning Lucky, Elorrum, All.

Found something hidden in back of closet that will do great for Friday and Saturday events.
Don't have to go shop. Whew . just cook .
not easy when people are non'glutin, vegie etc.
chocolate may have to do.

Good Morning (mid-morning) - I hope everyone is having a wonderful day

TG nice coat.

Excited the new furnace is being installed today. It will be nice, as right now I cannot get warm. I was standing outside in the rain at 7 am this morning to stop cars from parking by our house. The dumpster didn't get delivered until 8 am. I live a block from a Catholic high school. All of the kids park up and down the blocks around the school. It's a real pain in the ass. - Off to make more hot cocoa.

Hey Doc, how about them Giants!! 3rd time World Series Champs in 5 years! Rhino, the KC Royals played some great baseball, but our pitcher, Madison Bumgarner was simply unreal! It will be wild in SF on Friday when the team marches down Market Street to City Hall

Wow, how exciting

Congrats to your Giants, marty! They did play some fine ball! I think they deserve the title because they beat both the Cards AND the Royals. Well done to 'em!

It's a great day to be wearing the orange and black. Heading down to The City tonight to catch the parade tomorrow. Any of you knuckleheads going to be around? We're staying at the Hilton (financial district I believe) and catching Amtrak out of Davis.

Morning YG. Yay for the snow and rain. Bon Voyage Elorrum Have fun with Lucky. Doc, would love to meet up with you, but I'll have to settle for watching on TV. Too much other stuff already planned. I'll be looking for you. Thanks for the gracious comments, Rhino. What a ride this season was.

Congratulations to the Giants and stuff! :D

The leaves here are in full color, though they may not last much longer this year. A nice autumn for sure. I may be fortunate enough to cross paths with the 'big black cat' this Saturday if things work out as hoped. WooHoo!

:coffee:
Meanwhile, lots of outdoor chores to do here before winter brings in cold weather.

Lucky andMercedes made short and fun job reverse tetrising a jam packed van. We missed your company ygmir, but it would have been too long a trip for you to push a few shoeboxes around, Imho.

Errands today, a day off from packing and sorting, that main job is over!!! Now it's adventure prep!

Raining here right now and I guess it will rain on the Giant's parade in SF today as well. Doubt if that will dampen the enthusiasm for the champs. Might get Doc a bit soggy. I'll be watching the event in the dryness of my comfy chair on TV.

It's raining cats and dogs ..... yeah, I know, I just stepped into a poodle! Bada Bang

Cheers :D :D :D :coffee:

Obscured drive today
had to get more supplies for tonight and tomorrow.

Tomorrow Bill ( the tall friend who came up to the Hof) is getting married .
if I can find the "right" Meyer Lemon tree I will bring it to his wedding
So, What kind of message do I send about that

And how important is it to get to tonight's event that I drive through this
well a lot of dancing is worth all effort.

Happy Halloween Dear Ones !

Last night Grandfather (burner) called me.. He can not get out of bed and would I take to Portland VA... Sure right now, I'm on my way out the door.. No.. Wait until Monday.. Huh? He don't want to lay around the hospital over the weekend.. One of his many adopted grand kids will care for him..

I said later.. Damn stubborn old man.. My daughter pipes up with "are you talking about yourself or Grandpa?"

He thinks it will be a quick trip and a new hip.. At his age and condition they may put him in a nursing home.. That would kill him outright..

If I ate what he eats it would kill me.. If he stops eating what he eats it will kill him..

He needs some mojo here..

unjon, fret not, my friend.

There's a new technique out there that's just coming into vogue with the orthopedic surgery community. I met a guy who had his hip joint replaced, and they did it at the hospital with a ONE NIGHT STAY. Your friend may have stumbled into this kind of surgery. If he did, he's golden for another 50 years.
