*rides in on weather geared War Rabbit™, throws coal on fire in stall and sets out breakfast (RBB)*
*walks in bar through "Viaduct Under Lovely Verdant Area", noting OMWs faintly coming from tunnel walls? or is that my imagination, having had hopes for Da Mule and all recently*

HI Lucky!! glad you got your pipes cleared, hope it all works good now! did they find any problem? suggest any scheduled maintenance?

good rain yesterday and last night......even off and on this morning, some snow in the mountains, too! so yay that!

Thanks ygmir. No problem was found and everything is good. He did mention make mention of scheduled maintenance I was just feeling so relieved that I didn't really confirm anything at the time. I'll have to get a hold of him and see what is suggested.

Good Morning All Dear Ones !

so when Yggy spoken to lucky about being glad that her pipes are clear,
I assumed he was speaking about her recent throat issues
(too much fast dancing takes my brain for a walk away )

Lucky, I am so glad to hear you didn't have a problem. Here's EXACTLY what I was talking about - crossbores:

I'm going ahead and joining the association, since I was asked to be on the board of directors.

Still numb inside, folks, and not getting my head together too well since Kate's untimely departure from this life. HOWEVER, this is so damned important to all that I had to post it.

This weekend, who knows what will happen? I don't. I still have to keep my head held high (difficult, but doing it), get shit done (it will be if I have anything left), and heal a bunch more. My ex-gf broke down in tears last night when I told her the news, but we'll both get over it. Kate had a long and happy life after getting away from being a 'pound kitty'. Maybe I should go save another one next week. I probably will.

So, anybody ever seen a horror movie from the 60s, set in San Francisco, in which a woman finds a banana peel on the stairs and eats it?

Just along for the ride.

Went from a lovely summer to autumn yesterday. Warm sunny morning, then it got windy, the temps dropped, in came some rain, and bam! Fall is here like it should be. I picked the last of the raspberries yesterday, they are usually gone by this time if year. Crazy. And stupid fall back time means I am wide awake at 3:30 in the morning, no hope of more sleep.

Larry has a student, I think they are in Wisconsin today.

Good morning bar!!
The extra hour was perfect to get me back to feeling virtuous about what time I woke up. Corraling loose ends and staging last big items for donation pick up. Little things take more time than big things to finish, for some reason. More of them, I suppose.
I like my new coffee set up here, pulled an overlooked camp press kettle into service, one boil and I can fill the thermos. It has a poor fitting lid and innitially resulted with coffee being spilled all over. If I press without the lid being attached it works fine.

<RobbiDobbs wanders in with book and two bottles of wine under arm. She plops down on the dusty couch and using an antiquated wine cork remover, she successfully get the plastic cork out. Whipping a pint jar out of her DPW jacket, she fills it.>
I gots math to do. But I got wine to learn about too. Howz that for juxtaposition, eh?
It's Pinot Noir from Willette Valley and yes I'm keeping notes. I don't know dick about wine, but it's a decent winter hobby to learn.
Let me check how many fucks i still have in my wallet.
I got nuthin.
So what I'm learning this evening is that:
One bottle is sufficient to get whatever emotional experience off loaded.
I like not having an alcoholic living with me. Gawd FUCK I'm so relieved.
I hate, hate, hate math. It makes my brain all jumbled up. I like negotiating with people better Im much more adept at using those tools: voice inflection, word choice, logic and argument. So fucking good at doing that, and I love doing it. It's what I di.
I just need to jump they this ducking flaming hoop of math and niggly details so I can move forward. I love the subject matter, it's the fucking details that are kickingy ass!
Fuck, this autocorrect isaking me aound drunk. I'll leace it in.

Why the fuck am I explaining this to a blender?

wow Lucky!!! good for you! it is that time of year, too, for bundling and laying around.
I"m a little sore, but not bad. First wood splitting session of the winter yesterday. It always takes a few times to get the old body used to swinging that maul. Sorta sad, that rounds I'd split with one swing years ago, now I have to take several, so in a way may be working harder. It's black oak, so yeah harder to split than softwood, but still.
Property tax time.......so to the treasurer with my checkbook. I'm not as resentful of county property taxes as I am the state and mostly the Fed. income and sales taxes,so, it's not all bad.

have fun ASD!!

Hope all is well Robbidobbs......

Morning Bar!! Load up for last trip to storage tomorrow am. Fiji wood and imagineering camper rigging too. Have to make final edit on trip gear to keep what I'm not taking, everything else goes to the goodwill. Oh and dumpster fill this morning right quick before the pick up. Better get crackin'.

The past two months have been crazy, both personal and business. Some good, some bad, just kind of overwhelming.

It's all good though. I'm making my art plans for Burning Man. Sourcing a few key pieces and doing side projects while I'm at it.
