Sunbeam, my politics lie squarely Libertarian. But you have to understand, a lot of this is perpective. Now I'm not going to say I know a helluva lot about Texas politics (who, after all, does?), but a cripple who discriminates against cripples (could it be because they don't want the Americans With Disabilities Act to punish hard working small businesses at the expense of the trial lawyers?), a man who is admittedly racist (if blacks voted, as they did, 95% for a black man or putting it another way, 95% against the white man, for president, would you call them racist?), a women who obsesses with oppressing women (really? The "war on women" is a straw dog not based on much of anything besides liberal hyperbolie that too many people have bought in to; does she "oppress women" by what, enslaving them?). Don't you see a central thread here? Too many people, in my opinion, have drank the media's cool-aid. Most people, both left and right and in the center, are reasonable honest decent human beings. But we have differing perspectives, but that hardly makes us, and them, bad people. I say thank you for the diversity and the differing of opinions. Oh, and Wall Street was up 100 points today, so the election certainly made some of us very happy indeed.
