well, from the looks of things the camp would either degrade into a fist fight, or upgrade into an orgy...or maybe both!

i'm campin' with DOTA again unless they toss me out on my ass, in which case i'm yours :)

but i'll surely stop by and kick or kiss some ass, as the case may be.

OKAY!!! Fuck this shit... Let's just cut to the chase:

I am declaring that I am forming the goddam EPLAYA camp! I am not going to be the leader, nor the focus, I am just going to be the fucking coordinator... goddammit (not you, Cap'n) and I will set up a section for us to use as a camp. Here are ideas (as opposed to smart assed suggestions)

A spot on the Esplanade (whatever that may be this year) with minimal staff in attendence to man the thing.
Chill sofas, mucho shade, and room for people to spread out, meet and greet, and generally get to know what the ePlaya is all about
Tisha's Bar: There is no fucking way in hell we are going to do this without Tisha's bar, even if Tisha is stuck in Center Camp doling out coffee. The Bar is the current center of ePlaya, even if the Admin doesn't want to admit it.
Minimal setup and teardown. Sofas and chairs from Goodwill, etc.
Any fucking politics, theories, lunacies that you want. All disagreements that can't be resolved there are taken to Thunderdome... period.
Calicoboy is welcome, but if he gets the shit beat out of him (or he beats the shit out of somebody) it happens somewhere else, and it is too bad.
Agreeable anarchy. There are no rule except to be polite to each other and accept each other like you do here.

Now, if anyone has a problem with this... too bad. We can discuss it. Don't make it complicated; keep it simple. All posts are welcome. All flames are ignored.

Wow this bunch is better than the last year bunch. Last time I brought up this topic Ivy jumpped all in my shit and all and all out got indignant saying it was wrong for me to think that anyone else would want to chip in to have an eplaya camp.

Ummm, Tony. For someone who doesn't advocate violence, you sure are quick to become verbally violent in your expression of non-violence. Now, why does THAT seem wrong?? Does this mean that, if I'm camped in eplaya camp with you, that you'll verbally berate me but just won't hit me?? I've seen that you're quick to judge and quick to jump... I have to say, it makes me wary....

I have to find a job in order to know if I'll have the money to go not to mention the time off. If I ever do get my shit together I would love to sign up for the camp, but I can't commit to anything yet.

To me, this is the whole point: those who can provide goods (Sofas, bar, shade, art) do so. Those who can provide cash for booze, consumables, etc,; do so. Those who can provide time to man (or woman) the bar, do so. Those who can provide ides for the whole guacamole, do so. As you all know, this is what we do on the eplaya every day.
