Elorrum just headed off towards Laramie. last night we spent some quality time looking for interesting sights along I84 & I80 between Boise and Chicago, but the pickins looked pretty slim, as they say. there is an exotic dirt museum in Nebraska, and a giant Strawberry in Wyoming.... if anyone has any ideas for her, please post them! i think she decided last night to just get to Quebec ASAP.... which means 3-4 days.

Mornin' campers!

That NY Giant-SF 49er game was certainly entertaining. I got up this morning and ran 10 miles through the steep hills of Newcastle/Loomis/Penryn and decided that I just might try and whip my sorry ass back into real shape and run the New York Marathon next year. A man's gotta have goals I guess.

Hello Bar. Elliot, if you do offer body painting in 2015, I would love to do some body painting. That is if I get a ticket this time.

Fuck, is it warm somewhere? Not here.

I worry about Elorrum on the road, there's some driving conditions on the interstates right now.

Good Morning Dear All

Elorrum is going to have some adventures to replace the former tedium of that job

I just took in my car for some serious problem I was not recognizing
water on the passenger side that I thought was from my water bottle ..for 2 weeks
Then after removing the mat I saw the puddling..burst something ..maybe heater

So... you already took it to a shop, if I understand you right?...

Still....

Clear water or antifreeze? (Or would they be the same?)
If it is clear water, and you do have antifreeze in the radiator, then it could be condensation from the air-conditioning. (On many cars, the a/c runs when the defroster is on, to remove moisture.) If its a/c condensation, it is just a clogged or dislocated drain hose, very common.

So.... I bought two tickets to Fleetwood Mac in Sacramento on Monday 24th, expecting that either my brother or a friend here in Clearlake would go with me. Now it turns out, neither can go. Anybody want to blow $250 bucks in this manner?

This is the Rumours album crew -- Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, AND CHRISTINE McVIE, FRESH OUT OF RETIREMENT!

This is at the Sleeptrain Arena in Sacramento, which seems to be The Venue Formerly Known As Arco Arena. My tickets are in section 104, row Z, seats 17 and 18.

Looks like it is sold out, but some resale tickets are available. And if I understand it right, seat 19 next to my two seats seems to be available. (But I may not understand their web site correctly, as this is new to me. And it could be gone by now.)

Yup. The a/c evaporator is right there, next to the heater core, above the passenger's toes. Moist air passes thru the cold evaporator and water condenses out. That's why we often see a puddle of water on the ground under the car behind the right front tire -- and well-meaning citizens warn you that your car is leaking something.

Your Room is ready here too! Hope you got my instructions in your other place (sent a few days ago)... Let me know what else you might need!

Also really hoping you have unlimited text on your phone. It JUST occurred to me that my short-bursts style could be costly as well as annoying (especially for one on the road). I'll def be reining that in from now on. Please forgive me as I'm really new to this whole cell-phone messaging thing.

Now I just need to know your preferred method: phone texts or facebook PMs -- especially for bulky messages with hefty loads of information that aren't necessarily time sensitive. For me, any PM either on Facebook or straight to my number give me your icon on the screen, so that's the best bet.

Today's weather is a bit snide, with windy/snowy conditions creating icy conditions especially on the secondary roads -- but by tomorrow (or even later today) it should be WAY better as everything gets sanded and salted.

We're getting CLOSE!!! I'm ready anytime!!! :D

Yay for Elorrum heading up to see delle.. Woohoo!

..and Elliot, if your brother has time, Mammoth Cave is not far from the Corvette Museum.

It got down to 9° last night, it seems way too early for that here.

Snowing and me sloppy slippy at 35mph on the freeway north of Chicago in Michigan, just turned east on 94 towards Hartford paw paw mattewan... Little burg called Watervleit. Marriott was nearest, and I wanted no more of this today. Fuck I don't know about this snow driving. If it weren't so cold it would just be sloppy slush. 18 degrees in chicago. high of 16 in iowa. Freezing cold at least I could keep driving, keep on going. Snow forecast for tomorrow too. Hmmm. Well, tv and hot shower for tonight free brekkie in the morning.

Seems to me, Elorrum, you are much better off with the low temperature and solid snow. That makes for decent traction. What you DON'T WANT, is temperatures near the freezing point, because then you get alternating slush all over your windshield and skating rink ice on the road.

Ellorum!! I miss you!!
Be careful out there, and the door is always open here, too.

Dang, cold is putting it mildly, it was 8* when I fired up the "Big D" this morning. He was not happy, even
though I plugged in the core last night. I'm thinking of adding a magnetic pan heater.
