I'm currently living in the DC area and have done some regional things, but have yet to go to make it to the playa. Here's hoping for sooner rather than later!

I'm from germany and want to visit burning men for several years. But due to noone interested in sharing a ride, I didn't.
But now I decided, that I have to do this in 2015 or I will always say "maybe later".

So I'm hoping to find nice people here online, that maybe can share some experiences with a newbie, that is pretty good in survival and is happy with the small things, how a single person could handle it to visit the playa without putting weight on his surrounding.

Greetings Everyone!
My name is Temyana Molina, I'm a little lady with a big heart and booty hehe :p This year was my first burn! I traveled to the playa in my 1985 Toyota Vanwagen all the way from Beautiful Canada livin' in the Alberta Prairies ! I found out about burning man one night i was sitting in A pub called "The Black Dog" here in edmonton by a man who was playing Wingman for his "Sad friend who just was dumped by his girlfriend" he said "you should really hear what he has to say he just went to burning man and burned everything!!!" I chatted him up and heard about how he got to burn his art installation, intrigued i started looking into the burn even more.

I am now obsessed and am passionately inlove with everything the playa embraces, and the joy it brought to me. I cannot wait to experience it again, and volunteer next year for sure. I met so many amazing people, I camped in 8pod with Miranda, LensCap, Tigerlilly and many long time burners, and found my second home in the Barbie Death Camp Village with Steve, Veronica and Rich! These beautiful souls really made my first burn something i will never forget.

I like going to Festivals and also doing "crazy stuff". I saw a lot about Burning Man.
I live in Europe in Austria. I hope 2015 will be my First Burning Man Visit.
So i also search for a Group of People I can join for Burning Man Festival. I also Need help how to get Tickets in Europe for Burning Man.
I can build up Tents, cook a Little and help in a lot Situations and Works, First Aid is no Problem for me because im a Paramedic.

God bless Austrian EMTs. I owe my life to many people, including those EMTs in an ambulance in late April 2007...
If there is no Austrian contact, there are German, and Czech. Not sure about Italian, but that seems possible, too.
As to buying tickets--Get up in the middle of the night and take your chances, like everyone else. If you don't get one, then join STEP (Secure Ticket Exchange Program) and work this board for people who don't need a ticket after all. (The best way to work this board is to hang out with us so we remember you when we hear of spare tickets.)
I don't know if it's worth your while to contact the Emergency Services Department, because there may be certification issues. Savannah might know. She might also know if they have a list you can join to get to know some of the EMTs, paramedics, nurses, and the other medical guys in the playa. My Dear Friend might know, too.

I have wanted to attend the burn for quite a few years but hadn't gotten out of my own way until I made a goal this time last year to make it happen. I am a Pacific Northwest girl who loves to travel and try new things. I am so excited about the burn that I created a facebook group to post all the interesting posts/blogs/info that I find to help me be as prepared as I can be.
