Do you need a ride from the midwest to the burn?

Post by tattoogoddess » Fri Nov 21, 2014 6:20 pm

Starting planning for 2015. If everything goes right, we are driving from Iowa to the playa and back. We have a 2012 Ford Escape so space is a bit limited. So if you have a light amount of gear and want to ride share, let me know. Gas split 3 ways and you do not have to drive at all. Please PM for details.

I am a smoker and NO illegals will be allowed In my car. If I find out there is any, I will drop you where ever I find out you have them. No joke.

Amnesty will only prevent deportation. It may or may not impact TG's willingness to allow illegals in her car.

Oh the irony...is this even a ride share post anymore? Thread drift can be insidious. (Whatever that means.)

How are you gonna handle sleeping?
Pull over and camp? Hotel? Plow thru the night?

I'm way too shakey on my 2015 attendance to volunteer at this point, but I am curious about your logistics.
Also, the 3rd party doesn't drive? How come?

Trade off driving between my bf and I. Stop in salt lake to take a shower at my aunts.

Right on.. I wish you luck. :)

We had to stop and sleep a few times with 2 people driving. Although we managed CO to WI in the course of a full day on the way home.

With a baby due any day now, I severely doubt my ability to come, but I think it'd be a great adventure carpooling with relative strangers.

Again, good luck with everything.

Soooooo this may be up in the air right now. I am having to have surgery in the next 3-6 months and having to shell out $3550 for it. The recovereru to do something like this is a good 2-3 months. So if it is in the next 3 months maybe, next 6 months, Nope. Will have more info when I visit the surgeon in the next few weeks when I have the game plan I will know better what is going on.

I realize that this offer is now possibly being retracted, but I wanted to vouch for tattoogoddess: I split a hotel room with her following my first burn. She did not murder me / lock me out / fondle me inappropriately / smell like a dirty hippie.

Way to help her out. Sheesh.

Who in their right mind would room with someone who does not fondle them inappropriately?

Thanks :) this surgery will save my life so I pretty excited. Little nervous about the after care for the first month, but it will be the best thing for me :) I think if we can swing it we will buy tickets and see what happens. Worse comes to worse I will sell them to a burner in need.
