So it's official, the 2015 theme is Carnival of Mirrors

Wow.

I'm not sure what to think of the Theme.

On it's brightest side I can imagine artworks involving lights and mirrors and colored gels. Fire to illuminate the "big top" structures and all those wonderful poi dancers, hoop'ers, ring spinners

On it's darkest....clowns....that is all.

Don't like it as much as Caravanserai, and definitely not as much as Cargo Cult, which I loved, but I'm sure it'll grow on me. Time to start planning a kickass lamplighter charm design...

I like the theme this year. PLenty fo cool and freaky shit can be done with it. I sense an overwhelming amount of clowns this year.

Sure, usually there is a carnival set up outside a circus, but carnivals travel on their own too.
