This sounds like a cool idea Ratty.
In 2010, the last year I attended I was peddling around. I saw a sign that said magicmarty. So I timidly went in the camp and introduced myself and all was fine.
I'll do the same. I'm usually camped along the outer road between 6:00 and 8:30.

Ratty - I'm with BRC Weekly/ Bootie BRC.
We've been somewhere in Center Camp for years, and we've been blessed the last few years with The Artery deciding we're the perfect neighbors and requesting that we get placed next to them. Fingers crossed it happens again. Even if we're somewhere else in Center Camp, I'll host one of the books - the Esplanade frontage just makes it easy to find.

I'd like to participate in this. Since being new and all it would be a nice way to thank all of the super helpful people on this board for assisting in my planning for my first burn.

A handshake, a hug, or whatever thanks I can give for all the really thoughtful advice and suggestions would make the experience a success for me.

Would love to make some cool landmark resident (hobo) tags

Don't forget about the eplaya Meet-n-Greet Melonblue. It's a good way to meet lots of eplayans all in one place. The book will be great to help find everybody that didn't show up.

Are you talking about the ending a sentence with a preposition thing?
Well, first off, questions have different syntaxes anyway.
As Churchill may, or may not, have said: This is the kind of pedantic nonsense up with which I will not put!
Seriously, if the "flow" is right, as judged by a fluent, native speaker of english, and other fluent, native speakers understand her, there's no real problem.

Bless. Do you really? There are always people that take a year off now and then. I skipped 2 years myself. I feel that if I get a ticket I'll be just as happy as always to take my vacation in the desert. Personally I'm gearing it up a notch with my new campmate. She insists on music and some entertaining with our neighborhood. Those rich folks were there before I started going and they'll be there after I quit. If they don't suck up all the tickets the eplayans will come and have a ball as usual. Count on it.

Tamarakay, I know what you mean. Last year there were a couple of cyber bullies that I only saw once at the M&G. I said Hi and walked on by. (Shame on me that I enjoyed that.) They probably would have been fine company but I couldn't get past what they had spewed on this board all year. Hey, If I take off my glasses all is forgiven.
