Looking for nice line art or plans for the Man.

Hey folks, I am starting out on a project to make a Kite that is shaped like the Man.

I thought I might check to see if anyone out there has some vector based art, blueprints, or detailed line art, showing the Man full on front view that they may be willing to share with me for this project to give me a head start on the screen print.

I have a proven flyer Martin Lester "dude" kite, and will sew a new sail for it. My plan is to do a screenprint the new sail with the image of the man. (due to size i will section the image into a few different screens.

I would also of course credit the source of the image and perhaps share a unique screen print gift if you are interested.

I highly doubt they will give you plans for the 2015 structure unless you are directly involved with an approved project. We are required to sign NDAs to see them. Releasing to the general public is doubtful.

However, I can say the man structure is nearly identical to last year -- just smaller in scale and with a base (thank god). As mentioned contact the artery and/or man krew. You will have a better shot at obtaining the 2014 plans.

Should you fly your kite at the event, you should seek advice in advance from airport (at) burningman.com and any others they suggest.

It is a life safety concern.

True. Just email the artery and see what they can provide.
