The rain keeps coming down, but that's good, we need it. Had 3 tuna sandwiches for lunch. Still sitting here in my underwear though.

No hesitation here. I'm prepping like a mad man. Waterproofing the new tents, sewing up costumes for me and friends, picking out fabric for the carport. I'm not on strike. Of course this year will be the best year ever. (Just like the last one and the one before that.)

OH. And I had egg salad sandwich with yummy tomato soup for lunch.

Capt. So yeah you are or yeah you're NOT? As far as striking vs. attending goes, if you 'are' you're not and if you're 'not' you are.

No hesitation or doubts here, either. I've been working on camp plans for months. The brouhaha made me rethink a couple aspects and ideas, but otherwise it's full steam ahead.

I'm not going "On Strike" - but forget volunteering for the event itself anymore. Ignoring the 3rd Principle transforms Black Rock City into a promoter's tourist package or a corporate-bonding retreat. Only suckers would volunteer to help build that, especially now that BMORG has side-stepped the issue of hiring sherpas on-playa - so there's money to be made.

My opinion has never changed: the org doesn't tell me how to run my corporation and I don't tell them how to run theirs. If and when the bullshit gets too deep, I'll leave and take my monkey to another circus...
