Hello from Bend, Oregon.

Post by Mshrauger » Tue Dec 16, 2014 11:06 am

I am looking forward to attending the 2015 Burn. This will be my first of hopefully many. Looking forward to meeting and learning from as many people as possible.

:D
Welcome to ePlaya!
I have traveled thru Bend countless times -- such fabulous scenery!

You are joining ePlaya at a quiet time. Most folks seem to be occupied with holidays, rain-storms, and such. So feel free to "take up space" all you want here -- about yourself, your art and/or other plans for your participation in the Event.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

WELCOME!!
Like Elliot, I've been to and through Bend several times. Got stopped at the truck inspection north of Bend, closer to Madras, once for improperly secured load stickers used on flatbed trucks. I was hauling a flatbed load of foam insulation sheets from Fernley, NV to Spokane, WA.
Ever eat at the Pilot Butte Drive In? It's one of our favorite places to eat at when in Bend.

Thank you all for the greetings. Still figuring out how to use the communication tool here.

To : Elliot: I am working on figuring out how I can best contribute to the community. I am creative - but, not an artist.

To: Thecatman - yup! Pilot Butte Drive In has the best burger in town.

No worries! In Black Rock City the definition of art is almost infinitely wide. And while many of us think of the Event primarily as an art festival, countless services are needed to form a successful community. Me, I repair bicycles. Occasionally I manage to turn bicycle-repair into theater, however briefly.
