Christian Rock Music

Post by cowboyangel » Wed Nov 17, 2004 11:21 pm

I needed to make a thread that I'm sure no one will visit, so I can have the space to rant and rave about God, Budha the Red Sox and Shri Nisargadatta Maharaj

When Jesus comes- does he shout his own name?
Just thinking out loud.

See the world as it is and divest yourself of all desire and fear.
When the world does not hold and bind you, it becomes an abode of joy and beauty.
You can be happy in the world only when you are free of it.

Could be, but I'm not all that smart and well read really (I assume that's a book?). It was one of the "meditation tips of the day," and I saved it because in my infinite wisdom I just *knew* you'd mention sri Nisargadatta Maharaj one of these fine days, and I'd have something to post to make me look like a smarty pants and to bait stuart with.

don't worry stuart, when I call someone a nimrod, it's meant as a term of endearment

Nimrod started for me in 1983 aboard the Rainbow Warrior...we all went around calling eachother nimrods...it was started by GP Pacific Northwest founder Eddie Chavies...my dear friend, now living outside of Waco....ya, Waco.
