We've never been, but definitely looking forward to Burning Man 2015. Looking for ways to contribute or be a part of the experience!

Third weekend in July. The race was part of daVinci Days, but now it is independent and is centered at the Fairgrounds.

There are a ton of burners in Eugene and plenty of independently organized dance events to meet them at. The regional SOAK has many and events like Beloved and other outdoors do too. You are in for an experience!
