I had something like six late requests for placement (why do they always go thru me?) just today! Oy vey people, it's already August!

I just thought people might like to know what countries will be represented in The Best Damn Theme Camp On The Playa. Besides the good ol' USA, we have Canada, England, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Israel, Germany, and The Czech Republic. All in all a rather polyglot group. If I left any countries out, well, sorry. See everyone at the Meet & Greet on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Dusty days, here we come!

I would like to personally thank Tamara for handling all of the Early Arrival passes for Barbie Death Village. She took on a huge responsiblity and pretty much hauled my ass out of the fire. So Tamara, thank you again. And in that regard, if you are a Barbiebarian who requested an EA pass and did not receive it, we need to know immediately. We believe everyone has been taken care of. Looking forward to seeing all of you dusty bastards on the playa and at the Meet & Greet!

I was given a box full of BDC tee-shirts and hats from 2012 and 2013. Managed to get some of them back to their rightful owners, or will do on the playa. (Think Vulture Chow) However, we have a boatload of shirts and hats that are available for free to anyone who would like one. Some have "playa names" on the shirts already so maybe if you need a playa name now's your chance to get one! You will need to drop by the Barbie Boutique which is a subcamp of Barbie Death Village adjacent to Dye With Dignity and grab or claim your very own custom-made shirt and hat.

We'll see everybody a week from today at the Meet & Greet, 6 p.m. at 6:30 and Ephesus! Stay dusty my friends.

We probably should start a Barbie Death Village thread in the 2015 Theme Camps listing, but that's Felony's call. Just wanted to let everyone know that the first Barbie Death Village newsletter was sent out this morning. If you're part of our Village and did not receive it, or would just like to see it for yourself, PM me and I'll get it off to you when I get around to it.
