LA: Escort Us to an Alternative Bar!

Okay I need some help here. Over Thanksgiving my wife and I will be hosting her cousin from Wisconsin, who happens to be a lesbian and who happens to want to check out the LA bar scene. I think it will be a blast but I don't exactly know my way around LA's alternative clubs. Anyone wanna meet a couple of Burners AND show an out-of-towner the ropes?

(Uh, okay ropes aren't required but might be fun. :twisted: )
