Mornin All!!
ygmir. (shake hands)
One thing I like about night shift is not answering to an alarm clock. ALMOST, ALMOST like being retired
Gonna make my oatmeal mush and a cup of coffee.
Another overcast day here, about 41 right now and not forecasted to get much warmer......but, high 50s low 60s possible for the weekend
have a safe day

Re: The Bar 2015 Edition
A second day of report writing. Hmph. Easy enough. I can do this stuff with my eyes closed.
No big news to report today, but I'm making chicken pot pie according to my recipe tonight, having a lady over. Prep time: 5 minutes. Cook time: 25 minutes. Add one can of chicken pot pie soup to a can of mixed vegetables. Add a quarter teaspoon of pepper. Mix. Put in a pie crust, and put a second crust over the top. Bake in a pie pan at 350 degrees. Cool for two minutes. Dinner ready to eat in 32 minutes!
Got a haircut last night. My hair is shorter than Elliot's. I just don't favor ygmir's 'tapered' cut for my head....lol Love ya, yggy and Elliot.
Thecatman, sounds like you got 'snow watch' duty. Be safe out there, buddy.
A Pun Buffet?
No, this is a dungeon, and we serve up......wait for it.......
Pun -ishment.
That is all.

Afternoon All!!
Getting ready leave for work. Last night, while at work my right knee just started hurting, took an Aleve and seemed to help. I was hobbling for a while.
Probably stop for a bite at In-N-Out in Sparks around 7:30ish for a #2.

Re: The Bar 2015 Edition
I'm guessing that the In-N-Out is a convenience store. Sorta like the Kum N Go in Wyoming (or, as it's referred to in the Longmire novels by one of the deputies, the 'Ejaculate and Evacuate'). Then I remembered what's legal in Nevada. Could be that, too......lucky420 wrote:I always try to wait to get home before a #2Thecatman wrote:Afternoon All!!Getting that done on the 28th^Rhino! wrote:Got a haircut last night.

We keep it simple in the heartland. We have the "quik trip" and "Break Time" convenience store chains. Then I know I can get a frosty can or bottle of my favorite beverage when the time is right. And of course, gallons upon gallons upon gallons of

Morning MDF, crap I hate this weather. Start packing? You saw that trailer out in my driveway, it has been packed since I got home last year.....little cleaning and I am good to go. Morning all, I will go back to my corner seat and lurk.

Good morning, all! I had occasion to go swimming (indoors) two days in a row, so I feel wonderful.
Other than that, I am tinkering with Theme Camp paperwork, getting it ready for submission in a couple months.
Am I packing yet? Well... not exactly, but quite a bit of my Stuff stays segregated in their tote-boxes and such year round.
As for the scenery that just appeared on the screen... I see that I made a mistake not going with her to the Caribbean!

You got that right, Elliot!
Morning peeps. Little groggy this AM. I am in a show and was at rehearsal till 11 PM last night. Every other year for the past 25, a group of us in our tennis club put on a musical comedy revue. This is our 12th production and it is called "Twisted Tennis". Cast of about 30 people. about 20 songs and a great deal of fun and silliness. But also, a load of hard work. We get an audience of about 550 over 2 evening performances and a matinee. It's show time on the weekend of Jan 23, 24 & 25, so it is crunch time with rehearsals almost every evening between now and then. Thankfully, I have a VERY small part and they absolutely do not permit me to sing, to the relief of all! Ahhh, the roar of the grease paint and the smell of the crowd!
Have a great day, kiddies

Yeehah! I spent much of my early childhood backstage at the repertory theater where my mother worked -- watching rehearsals and playing with the color gels for the spotlights.

Brown baggin it tonight
Last night while throwing a wheel chock under the right rear tire of the loader, my right knee collapsed from underneath me. That was the only incident I had last night with my knee. Happened at the end of the night when I was getting ready to punch out

Happy birthday to the tattoo goddess from one of the 'biotches'!
Yep, old enough to be my daughter, too.
Now, for the news: LAUGH OF THE WEEK FOR THE RHINO:
Part of my job is 'decision making' in alerting others to the presence of potential jobsite hazards. My co-worker had made a field visit to the site of a future landslide repair, and one of the adjoining landowners had dogs, including a rather nasty looking Rottweiler, that came hell bent for leather in his direction with his ears bent back and teeth bared, but not snarling. We needed to get the site contour surveyed, and I noted in the request for a survey the presence of a large Rottweiler of 'uncertain disposition'.
Yesterday, I realized something. Instead of the animal being potentially hazardous (biting dogs are no fun); what if the Rottweiler was gay instead? No way for us to know.......uncertain disposition, indeed.
