Heck, based on last year, tickets will be going for over $1000 2 weeks beforehand.Eric wrote:Fixed it.omegared wrote:Yes I agree, the market will be flooded with resale presale tickets shortly after the individual sale... but a guaranteed sell out practically guarantees they will sell for face value.
Based on the last two years ("regular" post-sell-out years), tickets will go for face value up to Gate opening, and possibly beyond.

I'm gonna take wild stab in the dark and guess that Eric wouldn't want to encourage that sort of thing though.

Re: ticket info
Eric will simply point out that if the BMorg discovers that tickets have sold for over face value, they can, will (and have) voided those tickets. As of last year they were also really craptacular on updating the voided ticket list, so it was much harder to find out if a ticket was valid or not. Rule of thumb - pay more than face, risk losing the money and not getting in. "Face value or fuck off" is still the safest way to get third-party tickets, as long as you follow all the guidelines for spotting scalpers, scammers & forgers.

Re: ticket info
I had to register for the presale using my phone so I didn't print off my "special" code. I'm assuming (I hate assuming) that this information will be sent to the e-mail address linked to my profile. When I log back in to my profile there is no indication that I have registered, nothing in my profile showing my code. I considered just re-registering & writing down the new code but that seems excessive. Anyone remember if the page with the code mentioned sending it via e-mail???
Never mind. I actually went to the ticket support page as I should have in the first place. E-mails should be received within 24 hours of registration.
