Hi Bar,

Little story..

While taking Grandfather to Portland yesterday.. His failing memories pop up from time to time.. I thought he was napping on the ride..

He suddenly said: Black Rock Desert.. To me he said.. Do you remember that box of rock I gave you about 20 years ago? I said yes.. He asked if there was a jar in that box.. There is a Mum cream jar.. In that jar are stones from the Black Rock desert.. They are widows tears.. His uncle had given Grandfather these pebbles when he was age 9...His uncle told him this story about the pebbles..

A Chick-a-saw story.. When a warrior (or lover) died.. The widow would go into the Black Rock Desert to morn for a time.. The small black pebbles are the tears of the widows..

Then Grandfather went back to sleep.. When I got home, I looked for the jar.. Sure enough was in with the rocks.. The lid has rusted shut.. I'll leave it that way with the story for my grand kids..

p.s. Rhino knows his stones.. But I'm sticking with Grandfathers story

One of my dogs died today

it was in the care of my moms ex for the time being. She had a stoke and the fucker was to damn drunk to realize she was dieing for three days (vomiting, couldn't walk ect) he finally sobered up and took her to the vet (or so he says) and had her put down. He didn't tell any of us till after he did it. He won't tell us what vet or what city. He said he is getting her cremated but I highly doubt it. He has never had a pet cremated. He just takes them out to the field to rot.
So none of us got to say our good byes to her

I'm so pissed off and sad right now. She was an amazing dog that wouldn't hurt a fly. So loyal as well. I hate this fucking monster and want to go beat the shit out of him right now for letting her suffer and not being able to say our goodbyes.

Yay! You either fixed your dropped keyboard, found a new one, or have become very proficient at copy-pasting spaces!
I actually did that for days before getting a new keyboard. But, I also had to impose the gG, hH, "&', and the `&~.
I must say, the spaces were the biggest challenge, mostly because they're invisible!
