I bet you'd also buy a bridge in Brooklyn if I had it for sale. Look at the delivery dates on those "tickets": the Weds before Gate. Those sites don't make you prove you have a ticket to sell, and the seller can cancel the transaction. So, they put tickets up for sale hoping some idiot bites, then they put the work in trying to secure them through sales or the secondary market. If they have no luck, they cancel the sale. If they do have luck, they make a huge profit off the backs of an idiot who could have put in the work to find a ticket at the lower price.

Not every one who wants to go gets to go anymore - that's what happens in a sell-out. Another thing that happens is desperate people lose money over counterfeit and scam ticket deals because they want to go soooo bad that they're willing to believe anything.

I'm sure you didn't mean it this way, but you might want to reconsider explaining exactly how to go about scamming people.

The scammers already know how to do it, as you can tell by the sheer number of fake ticket offers on those sites. This happens every year, and until the general Burner understands the scam, people will continue to get taken to the cleaners.

Every year since the sell-out we get hit with "do you see how many tickets are for sale on ..." and "the BMorg is just feeding the scalpers, because there's XX tickets for sale on ...", both of which are b.s. statements, both of which are predicated on people believing that tickets that (a) are unable to be transferred to another name yet, and (b) won't physically exist in the buyers hands until June or July, are somehow being sold by the thousands already. Clarity helps dispel falsehoods.
