Springbar tents in standing water

Post by sagittandy » Sat Feb 14, 2015 5:43 am

How did Springbars do in the 2014 rain and standing waters?
I'm curious if water seeped into the floor since their canvas sides extend all the way to the ground (ie, no 'bathtub' bottoms).

Thanks

Mine was absolutely fine. No water.

I should not respond before fully awake. I have a Kodiak canvas. That held up fine. Not sure about the spring bar, but they make a quality product. I'd be surprised if it leaked.

We have a friendwho brought his tent (Kodiak or Springbar) to our very rainy regional a couple times, no issues. And our ground is salt marsh, which gets spongy.

It might be worth pointing out that while there were a few puddles, the rainy Monday hardly resulted in "standing waters" from what I saw.
