Digital, if you're referring to the spammer who posted for the first time in a 12-year-old thread by copying/pasting a line from the last reply, yeah--I quietly deleted the bogus post and the three or four whimsical replies from those who did not realize that it was a spammer, and banned the jerk, allowing the thread to return to 2003 where it belonged. Based on behavior, IP, bullshit camp name + "burning since 1991", it was clear that he was only posting in that thread to build his post count before returning to link to knockoff handbags. There was no appropriate place to move the thread--because it was the precursor to a spam blitz.

If the replies had been in an otherwise substantive and useful thread, I would have deleted only the spam post before banning him.
