Just curious, this Tananbaum dude, an expert in health care and money, huh. That's his thing? Has anybody in the Project noticed anything about the state of health care in the US? Anyone??? I'm pretty sure that every once in a while there is something in the news about it... Anyone notice that it is cats just like Tananbaum running health care in the US who have driven us towards socialized medicine because "the market" out priced everyone who isn't on some board of directors for an internet presence trying to shirk and scam taxpayers and the consumers? And it is this exact expertise that he brings to Burning Man. I mean, aren't guys like him running health care the opposite of "non-profit" as Burning Man claims to be? It's a philosophical difference that, considering they missed the condition of health care in the US, may be too nuanced for the powers that be to notice.

And just curious, that killer photo of the small jet flying over BRC that graces the Bloombergs article.... It is credited to some LCC called FlexJet... using the backdrop of the city and the burn of Embrace for selling private leisure jet travel... it's all product now.

Feeling less and less guilty about starting a crowd-funded donation for this years BRCCP booze and ice. It would be keeping with the BM "ethos", from what I understand. Don't get me wrong, as we guzzle the booze others have provided, we will feel badly about it also.

Honestly, that was a mistake — we didn’t realize that option would still be available once the sale had ended. We totally understand how that came across as adding insult to injury, and we feel badly about it. All transaction pages including the donation page should have been pulled as soon as tickets sold out.
