hello, from OHIO

Post by celinaannis » Mon Feb 16, 2015 3:31 pm

hey, my name is Celina! This year will be my first BM! I am hoping to attend with a great friend and my father. I first heard of Burning Man 2 years ago and have been wanting to absorb the experience ever since. I plan to meet plenty of weirdos like myself, and of course see lots and lots of sand! Also, if anyone is participating near Columbus, OH I would love to help. Lets see what shenanigans we can get into.

Alas, Celina, there is no sand in Black Rock City.

Welcome to ePlaya! Yeah, I just had to rib you a little about the common belief that there is sand out there. It certainly looks that way in photos. But it is dust -- a very fine dust, like baby powder. So that's one thing you need to be prepared for.

Hang around here on ePlaya, read the Survival Guide, sign up for Jack Rabbit Speaks, and soon you will be one of us -- heaven help....

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
