It's possible they tweaked the estimation part to be more accurate. I know I've seen my fair share of queues in the past where I was at the 5 minute mark for 15 or more minutes.

Got ticket at 12:21... which is a palindrome.

I only hit the page once, at 11:59:59 and almost a second as good as I could do that, seems to have worked because I have pretty bad lag, I'm overseas (300 ms ping time). I guess none of this matters now as next year it's going to be a slightly different system again and this year it's too late

I did note that the top of the page said I was not going to lose my place in queue if I refreshed the page. I imagine they put the promo codes in a queue as they came in, which would be the sensible thing to do.

gah.... last year, I had my tickets within 8 minutes of the sale starting.... This year, I'm just as on time as last year.... after waiting 46 minutes, it still says next step more than an hour.
