I clicked at 12:00:00:01 and it took 6 seconds for the GD page to load. So therefore I got it at 12:00:06 and I bought a VP just fine.

I clicked the green button within the first second it appeared, waited for an hour, and was taken to the ticket buying page where it said "no tickets available". So even if it took people an hour to buy their tickets, really it was sold out within a second or two.

went to e-mail at 11:59 highlighted link never turned on , went to ticket page and hit button about 10sec late . So im in the Q at 43 min to go , then some kinda pause then its says over a hr. At 12:56 it finally said 45min than 1:32 it got to 11min then sold out sign

Did everything right ? Do you need fast PC's? I have a old pc but Im on Comcast cable.

I'm sort of pissed at the "you're here early, but don't worry, just wait for the green button" deal. I clicked that bitch within half a second and I didn't get into the queue until 12:00:54. No wonder I was too far back to get tickets. Connected on a commercial high speed ISP from my office, at that. Sounds like I'm not the only one who did everything exactly by the book and didn't get through, too.

I'm sure Ticketfly's software uses some algorithim to approximate how much time it thinks it will take you to get to the front, but in the end all that matters is where it stuck you at the beginning when all 40-80k of us hit the green button within 30 seconds of each other. One of my friends and I were posting our approximate wait times on Facebook, and I was ahead of him by like 20 minutes for most of the time. Then, when I was at 20 minutes left, He went from 40 to 5 minutes and got tickets before I did. I think the little dude on the green line was a more accurate indicator of where you were in line.

I had the same message and watched the little green man slowly walk to about 1/3 of the way and then the bad news message
I got a late start so that was my fault. I logged in around 12:15. Kinda weird that some are saying they logged in a few seconds after 12:00 and were told "sold out"

But I accomplished a few things while waiting:
Did the dishes
Cleaned the cat boxes
Wrote a check to the gas company
Did a word search puzzle from yesterdays rgj

I clicked the link on the ticket page at about 12:00:03 or :04. It took me a moment to find where on the page the magic button was and scroll to it.

I waited an hour and a half and it told me "sold out" at 22 minutes left in the queue.

So it looks like the tickets sold out in about 3 seconds.

Good thing I have campmates who do other stuff. I'll choose a yummy early entry volunteer gig this year.

Opening a new tab and pasting the link you got in the email had a chance of taking you directly to the ticket purchase screen. OR with some coding trickery you could get into the queue before noon. So if you're a good burner and follow the instructions and click exactly at noon, you're already way down the line to scalpers and people who know the trick who entered before you.
