How to build a wearable light

A few years ago I worked out how to build a kind of flashlight gizmo that straps to my wrist. The idea is you can turn it on with a flick of the wrist. It uses a 1 watt LED, which throws quite a beam. The whole thing is normally not very noticeable under your sleeve.

I've built a number of these for fellow burners, and figured that if anyone else wanted to give it a try, it was worth putting the plans on the web. So here they are. Thanks! Looking at what I wrote, I thought WOW that's a lot of work. But it's really not, once you know how everything needs to go together.
