STEP registration question

I'm trying to register for a friend who won't have computer access at noon when STEP registration opens. I have his burner profile login information. Is there anything else I need? Do you have to provide credit card/home address/anything else up front? Don't want my lack of knowledge to be the reason I can't help him out.

I don't know how it is for you doing it for someone else, But there is no payment until you/they get an email saying ticket(s) are available.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
