I can tell you this much, Tuesday is one of the top two days that begin with the letter T. :D

Generally, I've always liked Tuesdays - sort of like Monday in that it's the front half of the week, but without all the usual pre-conceived dread. Even when I don't have a regular work week to contend with, enough people that I work or collaborate or socialize with do that Monday seems like a downer.

Today's chock full of meetings for me, but potentially awesome ones so woohoo for that.

Hello, all.

Sorry I've been away.

Strange combination of grief and too doggone much work.

One of my profs from grad school died this last week. He was 90. Pneumonia takes 'em down at that age. Damn.

Nasty problem threw itself into my lap at work....a ridge of loess that a major road sits on is being gully undermined. No nearby detours, and if we lose the road, we're up the creek with no paddle for funds to fix it.

Working now 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. No extra pay....no comp time. I'm salaried.

I'll manage. It's paradoxical. I despise the hours but love the job. Oh well.

Morning, Bar! Wait a minute... Good afternoon, Bar!

I've been up since early.... I hardly slept at all last night, but going into detail would be more of a Damn Cat post than one for here *shakes fist at sleepy kitten*

Yesterday started off great, then started to take a turn for the worse when the first of a string of meetings I was heading into HQ turned into a no-show (it was unintentional, outside forces were screwing things up). Then my second meeting started to look like a no-show too, which was really disheartening, but I was determined not to let the day go to waste. I connected with some other folks at lunch, and was able to reschedule the one from the morning for early afternoon, and then the last big meeting went really really well. Lots of great stuff coming up for ePlaya in the nebulous future, I'm very excited though I'm gonna be really busy.

This morning we pulled the trigger on some stuff for camp, plus I got started on the process of pulling some stuff together for the camp layout and my 3D modeling of the camp. Pandorra got a shipment in for some fabric she'd ordered for her big outfit project, when I get a free minute or two I want to post some pics of her progress in the playawear thread.

Tonight I head back to HQ, the department of mutant vehicles said I could sit in on the workshop they're hosting tonight and take notes for the board. Even though I'm not building one this year, it should be an interesting meeting.

wow, looks like mid June at the Hof........beautiful day, probably 70 deg.!
the only snow is patchy, on the mountains in the background and they are 8K ' el.
spring is running like mid June. I'll have the tank full,so no worries for drinking, but none to waste this year!

road is rough but passable, as long as you have some ground clearance, or, can pick your route.

Possible low 80s in the Reno area tomorrow. If it makes it, it'll be the first for 2015. Normal first 80+ is around April 24th.....according to Channel 8 weather
