still a conference call would be more like being here an alternative shack of a site that could be an emergency gathering place still seems like the best.

Not that your site was a shack but do you still have something set up DVD? Is it low tech enough for us equipment challenged to log on?

Hey folks. Is there anything to drink for a guy who's already seen enough family to last him a year, and it ain't even Thanksgiving yet?

And regarding outages, is there a reason why an e-mail fallback would be a bad thing? Those who wanted in could set up a backup account or a yahoot account for use in case of emergency. I am sure there must be a reason why this idea sucks.

Of course, if anyone wants my tel. number, all they gotta do is ask.
