Heres a link to a video of me driving the MKII before fire install. Can you imagine 4 of these dancing in the dust? We are currently outlining some choreographs :D

What a great vehicle. Thanks for sharing. Is that shy girl in the passenger seat your teenage daughter? They can be so embarrassed about their folks until they find out how cool they are.

Really nice work and shop! I'm a bit envious of all your stock just sitting about.

I'm very blessed to have a great shop, it's been a long time coming.

THIS is a REAL mutant vehicle! I Iove scratch built rigs so much more than redecorated cars and trucks.

Looks like an awesome project! I'm giving this a nudge over to the camps, art, and activities board, since that's a better fit for announcements and updates about art (and MV's are most definitely art) projects for this year's event. Good luck with the build, and please keep the pics coming as you get the chance to take them.

Aww you have a family of them! :o

I don't know anything (at all!) about vehicles but I do know couches and those three green ones look wonderful!

Gorgeous pieces of work.

I have to know: How are you going to transport all these wheeled beasts to BurningMan?

I really liked seeing the progression of this build - even though I'm not mechanically-minded, the photos are really clear and help me sort-of piece the artwork together in my mind.

Believe it or not they are real stable, the components in the rear are extra beefy for added weight.

Congrats on the approval. That looks like it was a TON of work. What happens if you put all of that work into it, and they don't approve you? I just saw a huge, 2 story art car that was denied after being on the playa for 3 years. Have you been approved every year?

Thanks for the congrats! Yup lots of work.

I have had a vehicle approved in 2013 and 2014, we try and change our vehicles some every year so it's not the same ol vehicle as last year.

The hydrostats are purchased new and are made by Hydro-Gear, they are intended for large lawn mower applications.

Find me at Burning Man and get a ride! I'm camping with The Red Rubber Tattoo camp.
