Ride offered to person with ticket and EA

Given the limited VPs and because I don't want to be that asshole who drives in with one occupant, I am testing the waters for a qualified passenger. Meet-up point for "The Passenger" is the Sands Regency in Reno the night of Wednesday, August 26th. You must book a room at the Sands Regency in Reno the night of Wednesday, 8/26, for logistical reasons. Thank you Barbie Death Village for pointing out that covered parking is available to carpool'rs for free.

To qualify, The Passenger must possess:
(a) A ticket to Burning Man -- Either physical or valid Will-Call order number.
(b) EA pass valid on or after Thursday, 8/27.
(c) Minimal gear and a clean driving record (just in case).

Wednesday, 8/26: Stay @ Sands Regency thanks to Barbie Death Village Reno Hotel Deal 2015
Thursday, 8/27: Leave for Playa in the morning.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID EA PASS VALID ON OR AFTER 8/27

Excellent offer. I will add (for the sake of those not familiar with the early arrivals process) that early arrivals passes are not transferrable between camps or projects, and may not be bought, sold, traded, or gifted on ePlaya (or elsewhere). Camps or projects found to be abusing the program do run the risk of losing some or all of their EA's. The only way to get one is to be an essential core setup team member for a project or team, you should work with your camp, project, or team leader to find out if you are a part of that group's early arrivals, and if so what the early arrival date is (the passes are unique barcodes, and valid for specific arrival dates). Please note that most camps and projects will not be notified of their EA's until July, and the passes themselves are not distributed until sometime in August.

Hmm. Our camp is planning on Thursday for our EA and will potentially have more people than car spaces, particularly depending on whether our truck will be a two or three seater and so many of our campers being international. I won't know for a little while but yeah maybe...

You, would be an awesome passenger. Keep me posted -- I know it's early but I like to plan ahead.

It might not be me specifically, I don't have I licence myself for one thing, but maybe someone from my camp.

Too bad he has to come here to do it. With all the anxiety over VPs have to find it curious that the ride share board still waits as long as it does to open up.
Be careful. You can spend all your money in there..............................Oriental Visitor

This!! A billion percent.

With the desire to have more people commute together - why not open the ride-share boards days after ticket sales?
I would think the number 2 priority of going to Burning Man for any participant would be "how am I and my stuff getting there?"

Yeah, I almost always offer a ride, and my 2014 offering is still up!

Way to go Digital!

Will I be able to bring my guns, and fireworks if I ride-share with you? What about my White Gas and propane?

Just helping out ;)
