Mornin All!

A little rain last night :D . Not enough h to help the but I'm sure it'll help the grass, or whatever's growing in the front.
Going to Tonopah tomorrow. My older sister lives in Pahrump so we decided to meet in Tonopah for dinner. Haven't seen her in two years.
Gonna be staring 4-10s on the 27th and will be off on Mondays until October
Have a good day

Good morning! I'm up much earlier than I wanted to be, and it wasn't even the cat's fault. Today's going to be busy and crazy in weird ways, but I'm determined to get some things done. I made some really meaningful progress yesterday on building a new website for my camp, and am determined to get more of that done today. Last night I happened to catch sight of a gin company's promotional blimp outside our door, I tried to grab a few pics with my digital camera but was in a rush and didn't get to review the pics. I want to get to that, as I think there's some kind of promotion going on where if you share a photo with them you get a chance to win a free ride on said airship while it's in town.

It's still too early and too dark out to be able to say whether it's sunny or overcast... I really should try and go back to sleep for a bit...

Morning Bar!

Grant writing class is over. Was interesting, a lil boring, and kind of scary.

Now I've got a three day weekend. What to do, what to do...?

Have fun in Tonapah cat man.

Tiddledywinks.

If you succeed, you are entitled to a difficiety and for every wink you jump into the dingpot, from the duwink you count a flictiddledy and you keep on operating the tinkwinkle upon the pollywog until the points so carried equal the sum total of the bogwip multiplied by the putertinktum and added to the contents of the winkpot or words to that effect and you have won the game."

Did you win?

OK Figgy, I got it. I'm ready to play. Put your dingus on the polywog and I'll hit it with a bogwip. I don't care about the rest of the rules or scorekeeping. I'll just keep flogging your dingus till you cry uncle. Then I win. Ok....GO!

Morning Bar! Weeeeeeeeeee for saturdays :coffee:

Lots of fun doings here today. Big meeting at the Morris where most all the people/groups will get together and present about their BM project. A lovely way to find what interests you and get involved. Then a potluck...

It was fun seeing you too Ygmir . Glad you could come over the hill and glad you made it home safely. Is it to wet to play outside?

I'm not worried about you all being alcoholics, look were we are, but buy changing a couple of letters I've created a little test for us.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself!!!!!!!!

1 Do you lose time from work due to thinking?

2 Is thinking making your home life unhappy?

3 Do you think because you are shy with other people?

4 Is thinking affecting your reputation?

5 Have you ever felt remorse after thinking?

6 Have you gotten into financial difficulties as a result of thinking?

7 Do you turn to lower companions and an inferior environment when thinking?

8 Does your thinking make you careless of your family's welfare?

9 Has your ambition decreased since thinking?

10 Do you crave a think at a definite time daily?

11 Do you want a think the next morning?

12 Does thinking cause you to have difficulty in sleeping?

13 Has your efficiency decreased since thinking?

14 Is thinking jeopardizing your job or business?

15 Do you think to escape from worries or trouble?

16 Do you think alone?

17 Have you ever had a complete loss of memory as a result of thinking?

18 Has your physician ever treated you for thinking?

19 Do you think to build up your self-confidence?

20 Have you ever been to a hospital or institution on account of thinking?

Good Afternoon all. tis going to be one of those days here. It started off with freezing rain and then snow. Lots of it. Dammit, it was like being in the middle of a snowball fight. Anyhow, hopefully we don't get the 15-20 cm of snow they are forecasting. April can be such an unpredictable month (Yesterday was a t-shirt and shorts kinda day).

I hope everyone is healthy, happy and safe.

:D :D
*comes hopping and skipping thru the swinging doors in his Victorian-style nightshirt, with a dripping toothbrush in his hand*

Yeehah! What a fine day! Don't want to waste a a second of it! *brushes a couple teeth between breaths*

We had a brief but heavy rain night before last, and yesterday was as perfect as nature can make it with just-slightly cool outdoor temperatures under gently clouded skies. And completely clear today, so will be even "perfecter" temperature.

(Only alarming thing is... the computer's spelling devil did not flag "perfecter".)

My friends Peter & Jerri and their two little hellions are on their way over for a day of productive projects -- weird pedal-vehicles to be un-mothballed, and Millicent The Bus to be torn into for preventive repairs.

Four Texans who are coming to TTITD for the first time have contacted me thru the Camp website to discuss all sorts of things, much of it bicycle-related, since they have a strong family connection to the Schwinn bicycle brand.

Six or seven neighborhood children are gathering storm-force to ride one of the pedal-vehicles up and down the street today. All neighbors are advised to park their cars well off the street.

The local Earth Day event is May 2nd, so I also need to prepare for show-&-Tell there.

Woopi-doobi-dooby-doo-la-la-yabba-dabba-dooooo!

*brushes a few more teeth on his way out*

At least the weather was nicer then yesterday :D . I've been putting off going to that event for several years. Saw the channel 8 news clip from it at 6:30. Looked like loads of fun. Deffinately going next year. Watch it rain or snow.

Got back from Tonopah around 4:30 this afternoon. Had a great dinner with my sister and an old friend of hers from jr high school. Haven't seen her friend in a good 30 years. We ate at the Mizpah and did alot of reminiscing. (had to look that up in the dictionary to spell it correctly  ) They drove back to Pahrump after dinner and I stayed over at the Tonopah Station Motel.
