I've been trying to catch up on house cleaning. I am feeling overwhelmed by stuff again. If I can get the kitchen done, the rest falls into place. I hope.

I made a fireplace mantle today, for a friend. well cut it, didn't make it.

Crazy day here, lots of stuff flying around in the schedule, but ultimately not as productive as I'd liked. The girl and I enjoyed a pub or two along the way, and then the Avengers movie, but I can't quite say that it was my cup of tea.

ESD scheduling opened yesterday, and I'm signed up for my Burn Night shift

at the new lil med station at 4:30 & G.

OH OH OH I found a new portable hammock, stand and all fits in a carry-case, very sturdy & comfy

and currently set up on my porch for extensive "testing"

MyDearFriend, I'm the very lucky one who gets to "store" Delle's two hammocks... just about the Most Comfortable hammocks I've ever had the pleasure of lounging in. Is yours of 3 metal parts that fit together, with a "U" at the top of the 2 uprights, adjustable hooks for the ropy loops... and beautiful, soft, woven fabric with lengthwise stripes? Room for two, easily. Hers are also from Canada, though I imagine there are multiple companies that make hammocks. I had one set up in my living room for quite a while... for "testing', of course... ya... testing. Right. Well, it aced the test and both will be making it to their third burn this year. They get set up in the North Pole Shade.

Meanwhile,

and preparation to go see Mom again, and Delle and her two young'uns, and Kenny, and all sorts of other relatives and friends... we're having another birthday celebration for Mom... 90 years and 2 days young!

Worked some OT today. The day went by fast for me. Found $10 along the freeway in front of the gsr.
Now two days of R&R and then four days off next weekend

Only seven hours OT for me today, Catman, but since I only get one day off before hitting the 12's again I guess it's just as well!

I got confirmation from my boss yesterday of 4 weeks off for TTITD.

So hell yes Bobbin I have time to swing by NY and pick up 2 kegs of your homebrew, before I head west.

I worked eight.... took six for pay and two for comp. Furloughing on Friday which is why I have four off next weekend. The OT from yesterday will make up for the furlough. Should be my last furlough for this year

....and hopefully never again
I'll be doing OT pretty much every Saturday as long as management is ok with it.

Congrats on four weeks off

HI Sadie!! well, good on ya for doing your civic duty. It is the only place/time in our nation, the individual has power over government!! Interesting concept, to me, that juries can in effect negate anything any government agency tries to do to an individual, by trial.

I'm off to Carson City for a doctor appointment in 45mins. The biggest thing is for my BP. Possible blood test for cholesterol.
