Heya guys,

This will be my first time to the burn this year, and I am super psyched!!!!

Any of you lovely people know of other gatherings before/after the Burn?
Specially featuring wonderful magical beats of Goa/Psytrance/?

I'm giving this a nudge over to the Regionals & Events board, since that's a better fit for discussions about other regionals and events.

To answer the question, there are relatively few regionals and events happening immediately before or after Burning Man... because all those groups will either just be in the process of gearing up for or returning from the playa. Prior to the event you may see some camps throwing last minute fundraiser events, your best bet is to connect with the regional group(s) you'll be traveling through and get on their event mailing lists (if they have them). That'll keep you informed of happenings in those areas.

As for other non-Burning Man events, this isn't the best place to look for that stuff (we're Burning Man centric, and don't allow other commercial festivals/events to use the board). My recommendation would be to do some looking around on Facebook, or one of the various festival-centric web sites. Good luck!

You're a party animal I take it? Can't say I know of many people needing more than a week of non-stop chaos. Candle from both ends kinda thing.

The Barbie Death Village hotel deal ends up being a party in Reno, definitely not psytrance.
Another hotel in Reno put on a commercial mainstream trance series of shows last year with expensive tickets.
There have been some psytrance eplaya threads, once the list of camps for 2015 is published, inquire amongst them.
For psy, check the 604 Facebook groups in the surrounding regions for outdoor events on weekends.
The weekdays before BM and the weekdays after are packing, unpacking, preparing and recovering.

The only "official" gathering I know of this late is The Forgotten City in vegas. Lots of commercial stuff over the summer though and decompressions in the fall.
