When I think about it further, go for it!!!!!! And now, as it should be, the blame for whatever is all mine.

Back in the day my friend and I discussed the best name for a pet theoretically lost in the pile of smoldering ashes from the Man. I had started with "Scruffy" the cat, but we realized that for maximum plausibility and laughs it should be a lost puppy. For the Lost Dog flyer I googled "Snowball" with "puppy", and found my avatar dog.

This spring I fostered 5 white dogs that could have been related-

My own buddy Willie was living on the bad side of town with some tweekers who also had several other dogs, including a pitbull named "Satan". Yeah, he used to live with Satan. Willie was flea ridden, had mange, not doing so well, so one day he said the hell with this, got out of the backyard, went down to the corner, jumped on the city bus out of there and into a better life. Here is his Animal Control intake sheet...
