San Francisco: Leap Transit To Provide Transportation For Burning Man FestivalTM

Leap Transit announced today that it will be providing service to and from the Burning Man FestivalTM and on-playa transportation. Leap offers a first class experienceTM for riders with WiFi, cold drinks and hot coffee. The exclusive service is summoned by a smartphone app which provides an efficient way to sell all of your location data to any buyer. The buses have tinted windows for you to look out upon the lower people if you can look up from your screen. The buses are climate controlled and provide filtered rarified air.

Leap is not anticipating any issues with approval of its buses on playa because they are by their very nature so mutated beyond social norms that they are not recognizable as being a part of normal society.

Leap PR Maven commented: "Leap, The Future of TransportationTM will provide transportation to, from, and around the event for select VCs and Founders looking for the Next Big ThingTM. On playa we will call on locations such as First Camp, or we can be hailed on demand from our smart phone app. Our Route OptimizerTM will plot the most efficient course as needed by the sum of the starting and ending points needed by all of our subscribers."

For the Burning Man FestivalTM, the Leap app will also provide a When, Where, Whatever service which uses attendee smart phone data and drones to map in real time where the action is. With access to the phone microphone, accelerometer and camera of all Burning Man spectators, the Leap cloud will locate the hottest dance parties second by second. It will be dubbed the Never Miss Anything Ever ThingTM.

BRCCP spokesperson and chief comrade issued a brief statement on the Leap move stating simply, "We will bury you," emphasising the point by pounding his shoe on the table.

Wallymart only employs "associates", they are all like buddies and shit. Hell, no need for job regulations and oversight there either.
They claim that exchanging money for services is a "sharing" economy with the new everyman-for-himself capitalism, as some at the top share in making a lot of money and others not so hip and connected share in getting evicted. At what point is it a business, not sharing, ya know, based on making money? Or, the real question, when will they admit that is what is happening.
So very very very easy to see how they arrived at $16,000 camp membership being part of Burning Man's "gift" economy. It makes perfect sense on the continuum.

McLarry wants "fellowship" not equality, I get that. So if I sell an $800 ticket for $1000, in order to add the fellowship of the buyer to the Burn, but tossing aside any concern for equality in purchase price....

I went 'Glamping' 25 years ago. Some friends joined us at a State Park for a week of fun. I didn't know they would bring a field bar, linens, candles, tiki torches, camp kitchen, dining table and chairs, bathtub and shower tent, gourmet food, an oven for baking, copper moroccan lanterns etc... We were quite the spectacle. (Someone stole our liquor during the night). With all the accoutrements came drama. I took video of someone's hula skirt catching on fire at the polynesian dance presentation. Less really is more.

I'm ashamed to say it but...I later inserted this into the middle of a rented VHS tape. The local mom and pop video store only rented pirated tapes so they could just whip out another one.
